POEM

Leftovers

When sea shells and plastic become less than glass beads and pearls,
out emerges a woman, where once was a girl.

Candy jewels no longer sparkle, shards of glass no longer shine
with her easy-to-open take-out life and her materialistic mind.

As beautiful childhood memories were once her way to be,
the remnants strung together is however, so ugly.

o mardi gras pink plastic beads
o plastic child's necklace
o plastic child's earrings
o plastic child's ring
o plastic banana filled with candy
o plastic raspberry filled with candy
o soy sauce packet filled with soy sauce
o plastic yellow fruit cocktail bottle with blue key chain
o plastic orange green beans bottle
o plastic blue Norton salt bottle
o base metal gold jump-rings
o base metal silver jump-rings
o 18 gauge copper wire
o thin silver wire
o base metal wire
o pink plastic key chain (clasp)
o soda can tab (clasp)

Very long beaded back-drop ending with banana.
