These beads come in many different shapes and sizes, and are either raw brass (gold color), nickel-plated (silver-chrome color) or copper plated (dark copper color).

Coil Beads

These beads are like little tightly-rung springs which come in different shapes and finishes.  In our Findings Alcove, we have coil end clasps (coil tube with extended loop) and leather cord.  You finish your jewelry by gluing your cord into these coil ends, then crimping the coil for added security.  These coil beads are available in either brass with gold-plate or nickel-plate.

Pewter Beads

Metal Beads with Ethnic Designs (Bali, Indian, Oriental)

These beads are made from brass, nickel and copper.   Sometimes they are plated.   Sometimes they are inlaid with stones.  Many come from India or China. Some are imitations of sterling silver beads made in Bali, Indonesia.   Most have larger holes, and will slip 1mm leather.
