Work these beads into your necklace or bracelet design. Add dangles to the rings. These are also great for placing in the middle of your string of beads on a necklace, when dangling a pendant from this focal central place on the piece. This will support the pendant better, make the string less likely to break, and "round" out this base of the necklace, so it lays in a more flattering way.

Multiple strands of liquid silver, sometimes interspersed with gemstone heishi,  or czech glass micro tubes (bugles), is a very popular look.   Four types of liquid silver beads are available:  capsule beads, tube beads, twist corrugated tube beads, and heishi beads.  Capsule and tube beads create a somewhat disjointed look.  They are primarily used when the "liquid silver" look is secondary to the design goals for a particular piece. That is, the other beads are more important and the capsule and tube beads are spacers serving to draw attention to these other beads.  The heishi beads are used to create the true liquid silver look.

Sterling silver tubes are a versatile design element. This loose sterling heishi is ideal for making earrings, pins, necklaces, and bracelets; for sewing onto fabric; and much more.

About Liquid Silver Jewelry...

String liquid silver beads with either nymo thread,  C-LON thread, Power Pro thread, .012 tigertail, or .010 Soft Touch wire. When stringing multiple strands of liquid silver, be sure to allow several extra inches of loose thread on each end.  This allows you to tie the final knot that will hold your strands together. Cleaning Liquid Silver.  To clean tarnished liquid silver, sprinkle a fair amount of dry baking powder on a soft cloth and hold it in the palm of your hand.  Firmly rub the strands of liquid silver while pulling them through the cloth.  After cleaning the strands, shake them to get rid of excess powder.  DO NOT dip in silver dip!  The dip , no matter how well you rinse it off, will leave salt deposits in between each bead.  This will make the necklace strands stiff. Sterling silver tarnishes.  It's a given.  In humid climates, like the Southeast United States, it tarnishes very quickly.  In the US Southwest, where it is dry, it tarnishes slowly.
