GLASS PEARLS
(Bohemian and Swarovski)

Highest quality from the Czech Republic (Bohemian) and Austrian (Swarovski).   They're sure to captivate you with their shimmering finish.  Please note that glass pearls are coated.  If any of the coating is blocking part of the hole, you can use a needle, an awl or a bead reamer to correct this.

Bohemian vs. Swarovski Glass Pearls
Bohemian pearls are a round Czech glass bead then coated with the pearl coating. The quality of the coating is very good, but not as good as the Swarovski.
Swarovski pearls are a round crystal bead (with the same lead content as all
Swarovki products) then coated with the pearl coating. Has a thicker coating, more lustre, and does not scratch or chip as easily.

Choose your pearls between the Czech and the Swarovski
depending on the color and the use to which you'll put them. You'll do just
fine with either country of origin.

Over time almost all faux pearls will have wear issues, the only
question is how much time it will take. But they are not natural pearls and they
will eventually lose or show wear on their pearl coating.

These beads are not washable.
