SHELL HEISHI BEADS GEMSTONE CHIP STRANDS ***CLOSE-OUT GEMSTONE CHIP SPECIALS*** Chip sizes, as represented in our listed prices, are typically 7-12mm, with some stones, like aquamarine, with smaller 6-7mm sized chips.  Order by strand.  Strands are 34"-36" temporary strung, with only a few exceptions where strands are slightly shorter.  Some rarer chip-stones come in 15-16" strands.   [We've noticed a trend from our distributors of slightly shorter lengths, than several years ago.]  These beads have a regular size hole about .08-1mm diameter.  They require a 22-gauge wire, and sometimes may accommodate a 20-gauge wire.  Some 6-7mm sized chip beads will have a smaller size hole, requiring a 24-gauge or smaller wire, power pro thread, soft touch, soft flex, or tigertail. CINNABAR PENDANTS Many of these pendant pieces are also drilled side to side, and will work as a "bead", as well. The pieces that are drilled as beads are meant to dangle on a bead cord or wire.
