Craft wire is available in several electroplated colors and gauges.  

Craft wire is available in two qualities -- Good and Best.  German Craft Wire is considered Best Quality.   The Good Quality wire is from Beadery Craft wire.    On the best quality (German), the finish adheres better and longer to the base wire, which is copper, and the wire is a little easier to work with. A similar best quality wire is Colored Copper Wire.

Size 11 seed beads work well with 28 and 24 gauge, not 20 gauge wire.     Most 4mm, 6mm, 8mm and larger glass beads will slip the 20-gauge wire.    Some of the 8mm and larger Czech glass, and most of the East India glass beads will slip up to 18-gauge wire.
