| Use a piece of 20- or 22-gauge wire
approximately 1 1/2" longer than your cone.
Bend a loop at one end of your wire. Tie your cords securely onto the wire loop with a double knot. Trim the ends and glue the knot with E6000. Thread the cone down onto the wire so it covers the knot and the bottom loop of the wire. Slide your finding (ie, clasp, figure 8, or
ring) onto the wire, then make a loop on the wire end Your necklace or bracelet end is attractively and securely finished. |
