Add a bold and pronounced look to your jewelry designs with our Synthetic Cat's Eyes.  Legend has it that the Cat's Eyes would "see all" and therefore "watched out" for its wearer, providing protection against evil and for long life.  The Synthetic Cat's Eye provides an inexpensive alternative.

The cat's eye or shimmer, technically called chatoyancy, makes these beads attractive. These beads are made from the same materials used in telephone fiber optic cables. These are created from quartz fibers which are fused together, then machine-cut into shapes.

We carry Grade A in a variety of colors. Grade A has a pronounced chatoyancy or shimmer, and a consistency in color from bead to bead on a strand.

The "red" is a red-orange.
