A gross is 144 pieces. Rhinestone rondelle beads are metal "tires" with embedded austrian crystal rhinestones around the outside of the tire.     Rhinestone Beads are round beads embedded all over with rhinestones. Squardelles are square-shaped rhinestone embedded beads. Spacer beads are saucer-shaped (flatter diamonds), similar in effect to rondelles, which are faceted, glass crystal beads.  These beads are used between larger beads to visually set them off.   Czech Crystal Drops are teardrop shaped drops made of leaded glass crystal.   They are horizontally drilled through the top of the bead. Austrian crystal beads are very brilliant, and cut to perfection.  For a similar-looking, but not as brilliant, less expensive glass bead, you might try a Czech Fire Polish bead .   These beads come in a variety of colors and special finishes.  "Crystal" means clear.  "Jet" is black.  An "AB" or Aurora Borealis finish gives a multi-color shine to the bead.  An "effect" is one of several different finishes which give various color effects to the bead. Both the Czech crystal and the Austrian crystal are equally as bright. The Austrian colors are more intense. The Austrian facets have sharper edges.
