[This is but one example of a beaded art doll. This particular doll is not related to this year's theme: The Five Seasons. Your doll may be any style. The body may be constructed any way you want. You may bead stitch and/or embellish with any technique(s) you prefer. Your doll may be free-standing; it may have a supporting structure; it may have a base; it may be framed. All these choices are left to the artist.

St. Fedupia

St. Fedupia is a beaded art doll created by Kathleen Lynam. The doll is an expression of all the things Kathleen is fed up with. The doll is framed in a shadow box, and on the outside of each side of the frame, Kathleen hand-letter-stamped a Prayer to St. Fedupia.

Prayer to St. Fedupia St. Fedupia, give me the strength To endure toilet seats left up, Empty containers put back in the Freezer, And those who never clean up after themselves. Shine your light on those who leave dirty socks scrunched in a ball, and can never manage to pick up wet towels, shoes, weights, news papers or dirty clothes. Enlighten those who are narcissistic, dis-organized, or inconsiderate. Take away their power and control. For they make life miserable for the rest of us. And in your divine wisdom, grant courtesy and compassion to doctors who are never on time and male gynecologists who will never understand. Amen.
