nymo thread, C-LON thread, Power
Pro thread, .012 tigertail, or .010 Soft Touch wire. When stringing multiple strands of liquid silver, be sure to allow several extra inches of loose thread on each end. This allows you to tie the final knot that will hold your strands together. Cleaning Liquid Silver. To clean tarnished liquid silver, sprinkle a fair amount of dry baking powder on a soft cloth and hold it in the palm of your hand. Firmly rub the strands of liquid silver while pulling them through the cloth. After cleaning the strands, shake them to get rid of excess powder. DO NOT dip in silver dip! The dip , no matter how well you rinse it off, will leave salt deposits in between each bead. This will make the necklace strands stiff. Sterling silver tarnishes. It's a given. In humid climates, like the Southeast United States, it tarnishes very quickly. In the US Southwest, where it is dry, it tarnishes slowly. |
