Hello, if you don't already know by now, as millions surely already do, my name is Marjorie. People know me as a bead jewelry designer with an obsessive penchant for gemstones, pearls, more gemstones, more pearls, even more gemstones and even more pearls, and, of course, all the other stuff, like chain, wire, sterling silver, and you know what else, I don't have to tell you. And if you have heard that I spend more time on the internet than God, well, you might be right. I am always on the lookout for the next great thing in jewelry. It could be yours. (Actually, it should be mine, but you know me....) I hang out at Land of Odds (www.landofodds.com), and you can reach me there anytime. Point my nose in the right direction -- jewelry on-line that people will want to talk about. And, darling, you better believe this is my real nose. The jewelry ain't fake either. Let me take your hand, and guide your eye to see the treasures I have found ....

Wow what a visual escapade! Vintage Revival Jewelry and their counterpart Western Vintage Revival take you into the jewelry designing realm for the Really Bold and Beautiful while using broken china. Jacque Smiley has taken her passion for vintage china, buttons, and all things Western and churned up designs that are definitely not for the weak of heart or neck and wrist for that matter. I particularly am drawn to the Western Revival jewelry. Pistol packin’, horse ridin’ real women from around the globe can get their fix of firearms and many wonderful trinkets to boot, all the while donning a gorgeous piece of collectible jewelry. The variations appear to be endless, so check it out and be amazed.

| Jacquč had found a new love.......ANTIQUES!!!!! She was collecting china, | |
| buttons, flatware and every other antique that fell under the category of "smalls”. From France to Fort Worth and Fresno to Freeport there was no place too big or too small to shop! Moving to Lancaster, Pennsylvania in 1990 proved to be an antiquer’s paradise! She opened a store in Bird in Hand, Pennsylvania and began her journey of selling antiques and everything imaginable made from them. She gave recycle a whole new name! There were pin cushions from sugar bowls, shirts from old linens, bears dressed in old baptism gowns with vintage jewelry on, memory boxes from old wooden flatware boxes, handbags and coats from antique quilts, bears from old minks, picture frames covered in memorabilia, and jewelry from buttons, broken china, and spoons. Invitations began to flow in to do art shows, quilt shows, Christmas shows, fund raisers.... | |
