Teacher Guide
Responsibilities and Requirements
Assisting CBJA in Marketing and Promotion

Teachers are encouraged to market the school and its programs, and help build good word-of-mouth about our programs.   Simple things teachers can do include,

1) Mentioning other relevant classes to students
2) Maintaining snail mail and email lists of students who take their classes, and notifying them when the teacher is offering additional classes, or related workshop events are coming up
3) To list the CBJA affiliation on resumes, vitae, business cards, and the like.
4) Networking with other teachers, and generally being aware of what other teachers are teaching.
5) Mentioning the CBJA to other people you meet, who might be interested in our program
6) Having your own work, as well as the work projects related to the classes you teach, on display at Be Dazzled Beads
7) Assisting at bead shows where the CBJA might have a booth
8) Maintaining an up-to-date profile with photo on the CBJA web-site
