GOALS AND OBJECTIVES: create a wire-wrapped setting with bail for a cabochon
DESCRIPTION of MAJOR PROJECTS/TASKS: wire wrapped cabochon pendant
DESCRIPTION of SKILLS/TECHNIQUES/CONCEPTS TO BE LEARNED: - create wire setting for cabochon
- create bail on top of setting
- finish off the wire-tails

Simple wire wrapping techniques
At the end of this class, the typical student should be able to achieve/accomplish/learn the following: - create a wire wrapped setting for a cabochon, and finish off the ends

Supplies are provided as part of a kit, and include

5-7 inches, 22ga. square 1/2 hard wire
1-3 inches, 22 gauge square 1/2 hard wire
8 inches 21ga half round wire
22x30mm cabochon

Tools are provided for use in class, and include
flat nose pliers
chain nose pliers
round nose pleirs
flush cutters
ring mandrel
quilters tape or painters tape
ultra fine sharpie
ruler
cordless drill w/keyless chuck or pin vise
