GOALS AND OBJECTIVES: The purpose of this course is to apply knowledge and techniques learned in previous courses to the evaluation and critique of other wire artists' work
DESCRIPTION of MAJOR PROJECTS/TASKS: Review 20 artists' works, evaluate and discuss
DESCRIPTION of SKILLS/TECHNIQUES/CONCEPTS TO BE LEARNED: The primary skill taught is how to integrate knowledge about wire and its manipulation with the requisites of jewelry design

Any jewelry design using wire requires the integration of understanding of the material itself, its strengths and limitations, as well as the prerequisites of the design process itself.   This course is designed to teach the student how to evaluate and critique wire work design.

At the beginning of this class, the typical student should be able to do/know the following: Have considerable experience with wire working and wire wrapping, as indicative in the list of prerequisite courses above.
At the end of this class, the typical student should be able to achieve/accomplish/learn the following: Apply design considerations to wire work and wire wrapping.
