BK0101: Beginning Bead-Knitting: Beaded Shell-Edged Necklace Bag For The Beginner

Or, 1-hour Learn to Bead-Knit session scheduled the same day, but prior to BK0151.

Fun class to make miniature beaded bags to use as earring dangles.

 

 
DESCRIPTION of MAJOR PROJECTS/TASKS:

Bead knit 2 small bags
Attach to earring assembly.
Add fringe

Class Description: Create a fun pair of miniature beaded bag earrings for the holidays.

At the beginning of this class, the typical student should be able to do/know the following: beginner level bead knitting
At the end of this class, the typical student should be able to achieve/accomplish/learn the following: make miniature bead-knitting bags

1 ball of perle cotton #8 (color to match beads)
11/0 seed beads in 3 colors (example uses green, red, and white)
1 bobbin of Nymo thread or C-lon thread to attach any embellishments
2 french hook ear wires
Miyuki Mini Fringe Drops in coordinating color (example uses green iris)

2 #0000 knitting needles
1 big eye needle

Optional (these will be provided for the class, if you do not want to purchase your own)

small crochet hook (like a size 8)
scissors
tapestry needle or Sharps beading needle, size #10

The transitional earring finding that takes the bag to the earwire is provided as part of the $15.00 kit.
