Shape/sculpt animal fetishes from faux stone mixes
DESCRIPTION of SKILLS/TECHNIQUES/CONCEPTS TO BE LEARNED: - learn how to mix imitation turquoise, lapis, and rose quartz
- learn how to use a grater with clay
- learn how to use paint to simulate natural lines
- learn how to sand and buff finished polymer clay art

WRITTEN COURSE DESCRIPTION In this course, students will learn how to recreate realistic turquoise, lapis, and rose quartz from polymer clay
At the beginning of this class, the typical student should be able to do/know the following: Students should know the differences between polymer clay brands, as well as how to handle, bake, and finish polymer clay
At the end of this class, the typical student should be able to achieve/accomplish/learn the following: Create imitation turquoise, lapis and rose quartz
Sand and buff imitative pieces to a natural polished finish
