PREREQUISITES: CLAYMT4001: Getting Started With Metal Clay - Slab Pendant
GOALS AND OBJECTIVES: To roll smooth, uniform logs of PMC+ by hand
DESCRIPTION of MAJOR PROJECTS/TASKS: Create a pendant from coils/logs of PMC+
DESCRIPTION of SKILLS/TECHNIQUES/CONCEPTS TO BE LEARNED: - learn how to roll uniform coils from lump PMC+
- learn how to join coils
- learn how to add a silver wire bail or loop
CLASS TIME ESTIMATE: 3-4 hours
MIN/MAX # STUDENTS PER CLASS: 4-8 students
CLASS FEE and DEPOSIT: $50.00 instructional fee  ($40.00 deposit reserves space)

ADDITIONAL CLASS COSTS PER STUDENT:

Students will need to purchase PMC+ clay in lump and syringe form.

Students will need to purchase 1-2 small CZ stones

Tools and equipment needed will be provided.    Students may bring their own tools, or purchase them from Be Dazzled Beads, as well.

In this course, students will learn how to construct a pendant using only coils rolled by hand.

At the beginning of this class, the typical student should be able to do/know the following: Students should know how to handle lump and syringe clay, and to fire and finish PMC+
At the end of this class, the typical student should be able to achieve/accomplish/learn the following: Roll uniform coils and logs of PMC+
Join coils of PMC+
Add a silver wire bail or loop
Written Instructions Provided YES
Finished Sample(s) Provided YES
Supply List

Students will need:
2 1/2 sizes of lump clay PMC+
1/2 size syringe clay PMC+
2 small CZ's

Tools will be provided in class, though students may bring their own, or purchase them through Be Dazzled Beads.
