GOALS AND OBJECTIVES:

Students will be introduced to the right angle weave method of beading, and how it's used as a foundation for other bead work.
Students will do some surface embellishment.

DESCRIPTION of SKILLS/TECHNIQUES/CONCEPTS TO BE LEARNED: - how to do the right angle weave stitch
- how to add surface embellishments
- how to attach a two-strand clasp
- understand how different size, color and texture beads work together in right angle designs

BW2495:  RIGHT ANGLE WEAVE - BRACELET

Students will learn the right angle weave method of beading, and its versatility.    Students will learn how to embellish the weave, use it as a foundation for other projects, and attach a clasp to the bracelet they make.  Students will learn how to add thread to a piece already in progress.  Students will learn how to finish off a piece for completion.

At the beginning of this class, the typical student should be able to do/know the following: Thread a beading needle using Nymo thread
Know the uses of wax
At the end of this class, the typical student should be able to achieve/accomplish/learn the following: Create a piece using the right angle weave. 
Know some embellishment techniques

Supply List #10 English beading needle
Nymo thread, size D, any color that matches your beads
100 - 4mm round fire polish beads (any color)
1 tube - matching or contrasting delicas or 11/0 seed beads
wax or thread heaven
scissors
2- strand clasp, preferably a square filigree clasp
work surface, like a piece of cloth
