Use of Studio Equipment
During Non-Class Hours

Silver-smithing and lampwork beading studio time is available to rent, subject to availability.   The student will have access to the equipment, but will be responsible for purchasing their own supplies.  

Students must have a signed release form on file before allowed to use the studio space.   (See Lab/Studio/Equipment Fees).

The rental rate is $8.50/ hour, and 1-hour's rate must be paid at time of reserving the space as a deposit.     Students must give 24-hours notice of cancelation; otherwise, they forfeit their deposit.

Students should reserve studio space ahead of time by signing up at Be Dazzled Beads.  

Students who use any lab or studio space should make sure that all equipment and supplies are returned to their proper space, and that any necessary clean-up and maintenance has been done.   

PMC+ clay firing:   Anyone who has taken a metal clay class at Be Dazzled Beads or through the Center for Beadwork & Jewelry Arts, may fire up to 3 small pieces each week at no charge, and may fire additional pieces at a charge of $1.00 per piece.   Larger pieces will be charged $1.00 per piece.     Anyone who has purchased their PMC+ clay at Be Dazzled Beads may fire up to 3 pieces free each week.     While Be Dazzled and CBJA will take great care of your pieces, as green ware prior to firing, and during and after firing, neither Be Dazzled Beads nor CBJA will be responsible for any damage or breakage to your pieces, or if they are lost or stolen.    You may also tumble these pieces at a cost of $1.00 per piece.     Pieces are fired every Thursday morning.
