The Center for Beadwork & Jewelry Arts is located at:
718 Thompson Lane, Ste 123
Nashville, TN  37204

[Lampwork and Silversmithing classes, some precious metal clay classes, fused glass, some polymer clay, as well as some workshops, are held at various studios in the Nashville area.]

We are easily reached by car, and are about 10 miles from the Nashville International Airport.

Directions:
From North (Nashville, Kentucky), West (Memphis), or East (Airport, Hermitage, East Tenn.):
Take I-40 to downtown Nashville, and get off on I-65 South towards Alabama.   
Take the 3rd Exit called Armory.   This takes you on an overpass over I65.   After you cross over the interstate, there will be another exit called Powell.   Get off on Powell, and take a right onto Powell.
You will be driving with 100 Oaks Mall on your right and a Home Depot and a Car Max on your left.  
You will come to a major intersection with Thompson Lane.   There is a Wendy's on one corner and a Shell on another.   Turn right onto Thompson Lane. Then, get over to the left turn lane.
Turn left into Berry Hill Square shopping center. There is an Applebees restaurant on one end and a Subway on the other. We are next to the Subway.

 

From the Opryland Hotel:
It's a straight drive, about 20 minutes. Briley Parkway is the road in front of the hotel. Take Briley Parkway South. Cross over I-40. You'll be driving awhile. You'll cross over I-24. You're getting close. In about a block, Briley Parkway will change its name to Thompson Lane. You'll get to a big intersection with Nolensville Rd. Cross over Nolensville Rd.
You'll go under a big railroad overpass.
You'll pass Woodlawn Cemetary on your right.
You will turn into Berry Hill Square Shopping Center on your right. You'll see a Subway restaurant on one end, and an Applebees restaurant on the other. We are next to the Subway. You can turn into the driveway by the Subway.

 

From South East (Murfreesboro, Chattanooga, Georgia):
Take I24 to the Briley Parkway exit.    Go West on Briley Parkway.   
You'll be driving a few miles.   Briley will change its name to Thompson Lane.   You'll cross a major intersection with Nolensville Rd.   Keep going straight.   
You'll be driving through an underpass that seems like a tunnel.   You're close.  
On your right, you'll pass Woodlawn Cemetary.  
You will turn into Berry Hill Square Shopping Center on your right. You'll see a Subway restaurant on one end, and an Applebees restaurant on the other. We are next to the Subway. You can turn into the driveway by the Subway.

 

From South (Brentwood, Franklin, Columbia, Huntsville, Alabama):
Take I65 north.     Take the Armory exit.   (If you've past the I440 exit, you've gone too far).  On the Armory exit is another exit for Powell.   Get off on Powell, and take a right onto Powell.
You will be driving with 100 Oaks Mall on your right and a Home Depot and a Car Max on your left.

Turn right onto Thompson Lane. Then, get over to the left turn lane.

From Downtown Nashville:
A cab ride should cost about $10-12 each way.    Or if going by car:
Get on I40-East off of Broadway (between 13th and 14th Ave), take I65-South towards Alabama.  Take the 3rd Exit called Armory.   This takes you on an overpass over I65.   After you cross over the interstate, there will be another exit called Powell.   Get off on Powell, and take a right onto Powell.

From the Airport:
Nashville is served by many airlines, including Southwest, American, United and Delta.  If you are taking a cab, the fee will be about $18-20.00 each way.   If you are driving, follow the directions above as if you were coming from the East.   It should take about 20 minutes.
